When I saw this view for the first time, it seemed to me that I was in a fairy- tale. It was beautiful village surrounded by high mountains, which was not almost influenced by the time. Most of this towers date back to the 12th century A.D., but the oldest Svanian towers and churches are dated to the 1st millennium B.C. For centuries they were the stronghold of villages, churches. The hight of this towers are 20-25 meter. When watching them it seems to me that I look through the centuries.
